Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and imaging procedures using GE imaging equipment
• Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort while maintaining strict radiation safety protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging systems and accessories; perform routine QC as required
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely diagnostic images
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families before, during, and after imaging
• Participate in the on-call rotation and support night-shift coverage as needed
• Contribute to a safe, efficient unit by following policies, reporting issues, and suggesting improvements

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Florida State DOH License (required)
• Minimum 2 years of pertinent CT/imaging experience (as listed)
• Strong familiarity with GE imaging systems and Meditech preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in on-call rotation
• Excellent communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to multitask

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging and image acquisition
• Patient positioning and radiation safety practices
• GE equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
• Meditech EMR documentation
• MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy fundamentals (preferred)
• Strong anatomical and medical imaging knowledge
• Team collaboration and effective communication skills
