Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, organized patient environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records to ensure continuity
• Practice infection control and maintain patient dignity and privacy at all times

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and accept per diem assignments
• Reliable, patient-focused attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and patient mobility
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to comfort patients and families
• Familiarity with electronic or paper charting and documentation practices
• Dependable time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
