Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and document vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the care team
• Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
• Observe and report patient concerns and collaborate with nurses and providers
• Build strong rapport with patients and families to improve comfort and outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California preferred)
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Previous CNA experience in hospital, clinic, or long-term care settings is helpful
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility on-boarding requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 12-hour day shift when scheduled

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and basic clinical skills (vital signs, ADLs, transfers)
• Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and families
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and escalate concerns
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments and comfort with varying patient needs
