Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations with accuracy
• Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to support care plans
• Assist with meal and hygiene needs while promoting patient dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Valid state-required credentials and ability to work per-diem/overnight shifts
• Comfort working nights and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding (background check and health screening as required)

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care, transfers, and ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Proficient with taking and recording vital signs and patient observations
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Familiarity with charting/documentation and following care plans
• Ability to remain calm in fast-paced clinical environments and prioritize patient safety
