Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
• Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers and mobility
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and bedside charts
• Follow infection control protocols and promote a safe environment
• Support patient comfort, dignity and emotional needs during care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Comfortable with patient lifting and safe transfer techniques
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental patient care skills and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control and safe handling procedures
• Teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
