Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
Assist nursing team with routine clinical tasks and ensure a clean, safe environment
Communicate changes in patient condition to nurses and document care per policy
Support efficient patient flow by assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — required
Valid California CNA certification or eligible to practice in California
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and health screenings as required
Comfortable with direct patient care, lifting assistance, and standing for shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members
Basic clinical knowledge of vital signs, infection control, and patient safety
Compassionate patient-centered approach and dependable work ethic
Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced care setting
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
