Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, mobility, and monitoring patient condition
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Document patient care and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Support patient comfort and dignity through respectful communication and care
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required depending on facility)
• Comfortable assisting with personal care, transfers, and basic nursing tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility-specific onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of patient safety and infection control best practices
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Basic familiarity with electronic charting or paper charting processes
• Ability to safely assist with patient transfers and mobility
• Compassionate interpersonal skills and patient-focused care
