Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
  • Support safe patient transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment
  • Deliver attentive bedside care while preserving patient dignity and comfort
  • Accurately document care, communicate with colleagues, and contribute to smooth handoffs
  • Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California preferred)
  • Demonstrated bedside patient care skills and comfort working overnight
  • Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Hands-on patient care and safety-focused techniques
  • Basic clinical observations: vital signs, intake/output, skin assessments
  • Patient mobility and safe transfer methods
  • Clear documentation and effective communication with nursing staff
  • Infection prevention, hand hygiene, and standard precautions
