Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote dignity and independence
• Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status clearly and promptly
• Communicate changes in condition to the nursing team and care providers
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through attentive care
• Follow infection control and facility policies to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting a diverse patient population
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach to care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
• Patient transfer and safe body mechanics
• Clear, timely communication with nursing staff and families
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
