Location: Wayne, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility support
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Support feeding, toileting, and hygiene needs while preserving patient dignity
Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver individualized patient care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working in a fast-paced long-term care or clinical setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Prior experience in direct patient care preferred but new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient hygiene, ADLs, and mobility assistance
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Basic charting and documentation skills, with attention to detail
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
