Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Observe and document resident skin integrity, turning and repositioning as needed to prevent pressure injuries
Safely transfer residents to and from bed, chair, or wheelchair
Answer resident calls promptly and respond to resident needs with compassion
Maintain cleanliness in the resident care area, change linens, and restock supplies
Communicate relevant information about resident condition and care plans with caregivers, nurses, and providers

Qualifications

Current California License as a Certified Nursing Assistant (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Ability to communicate in English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Comfort working under pressure in a long-term care setting
Demonstrated ability to relate to residents, families, and long-term care staff
Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts

Education

Current California License as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Current CPR Certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with activities of daily living (ADLs) support
Skilled in taking and documenting vital signs
Experience with safe patient transfers and repositioning
Strong resident observation skills, especially skin integrity monitoring
Basic CPR knowledge and emergency response
Ability to maintain a clean, stocked resident care environment
Good interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Pay scale that recognizes up to 30 years of relevant experience with 30 pay increments
