Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents during the night shift
Assist with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding and toileting
Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Document care accurately and maintain timely communication with the team
Help create a calm, comfortable environment for overnight rest

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of Pennsylvania
Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered focus
Reliable attendance and ability to work per diem schedule

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer skills
Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
Ability to observe and report changes in condition clearly and promptly
Time management for busy overnight routines
Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity
Team-oriented approach to support nursing staff and facility goals
