Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, days not specified (Per Diem), day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with respect and compassion
Perform routine vital signs and basic clinical observations and report changes promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident status
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans
Promote infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Provide emotional support and dignity-centered care to residents and families

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (appropriate for practice in the hiring state)
Completion of an accredited CNA program
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic resident care and ADLs
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Ability to document care in electronic or paper charting systems
Team-player attitude and effective communication with residents and staff
