Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift - Shift 2)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Perform routine patient observations and report any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote patient comfort
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and tasks
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active authorization to practice in Pennsylvania (state CNA listing or equivalent)
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM per diem shifts reliably

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and basic nursing support
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and control practices
Teamwork, clear communication, and attention to detail
