Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (schedule varies), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet care plans
Help maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Comfortable providing direct resident care and assisting with ADLs
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care tasks and resident safety procedures
Skilled at taking and documenting vital signs
Knowledge of infection control and isolation precautions
Experience with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Good observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
Customer-service oriented approach to resident and family interactions
