Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem scheduling (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with routine tasks and monitoring to support high-quality care
Document resident conditions and report changes promptly and accurately
Support safe transfers and mobility assistance while promoting resident dignity
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through consistent, respectful care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs and documentation
Infection control practices and safety protocols
Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
Time management and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
Compassionate bedside manner and patient-focused mindset
