Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care that preserves dignity
Measure and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
Document care accurately in patient records and follow facility protocols
Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary staff to promote great outcomes

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the practicing state
Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA training program
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background and health screenings required by the facility
Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently on per diem schedules

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and observation skills
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
Basic medical terminology and vital sign interpretation
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Teamwork, time management, and reliable documentation practices
