Location: Belen, New Mexico

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Day

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Assist nursing team with vital signs, ADLs, and basic resident assessments
Document care activities accurately and communicate resident changes promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Engage residents in meaningful interactions to support emotional well being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or completion of an approved CNA program
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous CNA experience preferred, new grads are welcome to apply
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of activities of daily living and basic patient care
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control practices
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
Teamwork, time management, and reliable attendance
