Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation services to residents in a skilled nursing facility under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents improve mobility and independence
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions to meet therapeutic goals
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
• Maintain productivity standards while ensuring a safe and positive therapy environment

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Mexico
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of skilled nursing facility rehabilitation practices
• Skilled in implementing therapy plans and documenting progress
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and physicians
• Time management skills to meet productivity goals
• Understanding of safety and infection control standards
