Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitation services to residents in a skilled nursing facility under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to help residents improve mobility and independence
- Document patient progress and adjust interventions to meet therapeutic goals
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care
- Maintain productivity standards while ensuring a safe and positive therapy environment
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in New Mexico
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of skilled nursing facility rehabilitation practices
- Skilled in implementing therapy plans and documenting progress
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and physicians
- Time management skills to meet productivity goals
- Understanding of safety and infection control standards
