Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Circulate and assist in advanced electrophysiology procedures, including ablations for atrial fibrillation and flutter
  • Monitor patients under sedation and manage Phase 1 recovery with skill and compassion
  • Operate EP equipment from St. Jude and Webster, ensuring optimal performance
  • Collaborate with a dedicated, one-team approach to deliver exceptional patient care in a high-volume lab
  • Document procedures accurately using EPIC charting system
  • Adapt quickly to add-on cases and changing priorities, always keeping patients first

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EP lab or Cath lab
  • Current BLS certification required (ACLS for RNs)
  • RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification for techs
  • Experience with sedation monitoring and Phase 1 recovery
  • Cath lab and EP laboratory experience required
  • EPIC charting experience preferred
  • COVID-19 vaccination required

Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and equipment
  • Proficiency in cardiac arrhythmia recognition and treatment
  • Strong understanding of sedation and recovery protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Familiarity with St. Jude and Webster EP equipment
