Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists chairside during exams, adjustments, and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, clean operatory
• Take X-rays, impressions, and photographs as directed
• Document patient care and treatment progress in Denticon
• Educate patients and families on orthodontic care and oral hygiene

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Dental assisting experience in an orthodontic setting
• Proficiency with Denticon practice management software
• Comfortable taking X-rays and impressions
• Great communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Sterilization and infection control
• Denticon software and digital records
• Radiography / X-ray safety
• Patient communication and chairside manner
