Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support and educate families through challenging moments
• Document patient progress accurately while maintaining a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• PALS certification required
• Prior PICU or pediatric critical care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
• Skilled in electronic health record documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology, ventilator management, and emergency protocols
