Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem 12-hour shifts (day/night options), flexible schedule based on unit needs
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Support and educate families through challenging moments
- Document patient progress accurately while maintaining a safe, healing environment
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- PALS certification required
- Prior PICU or pediatric critical care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
- Skilled in electronic health record documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Knowledge of pediatric pharmacology, ventilator management, and emergency protocols
