Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices for long-term health
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth patient experience
• Maintain strict infection control standards and sterilize equipment
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
• Proficiency with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Strong attention to detail for accurate patient assessments
• Compassionate and clear communication with patients
• Collaboration with dental team for optimal care
