Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care and preventive treatments to patients
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and take x-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care delivered
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to create a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene or clinical dental care
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work a 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical dental hygiene and prophylaxis techniques
• Radiography and dental x-ray procedures
• Patient care and chairside assistance
• Infection control and sterilization standards
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
