Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to keep smiles healthy
• Assess and document patient oral health for the dentist's review
• Take and process dental x-rays with care and precision
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygiene license in Virginia
• Certification in CPR or BLS
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Radiology certification (preferred but not required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of dental hygiene best practices
• Experience with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Attention to detail with a focus on infection control
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental teams
