Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth patient flow
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and impressions with precision
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms to the highest standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments
• Provide a comfortable, caring experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or willing to obtain certification
• Radiology/X-ray certification
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• A warm, professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Skilled in taking dental impressions and X-rays
• Proficient in dental record-keeping and patient scheduling
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients and team members
