Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver gentle, thorough dental cleanings and remove plaque, tartar, and stains
• Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays while following safety protocols
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and preventive oral care
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures as needed
• Document patient care details and maintain accurate dental records
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and keep treatment rooms immaculate

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, reassuring chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures including scaling and polishing
• Knowledge of dental radiography and digital imaging
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Understanding of OSHA standards and infection control protocols
• Excellent patient education and interpersonal skills
