Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to Medical ICU and PCU patients with conditions like sepsis, pneumonia, and post-cardiac arrest
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret patient strips while managing continuous telemetry
• Titrate critical drips including sedation, vasoactive medications, and paralytics
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team including intensivists, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists
• Float between designated units or ED holds with a flexible, team-player approach

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (CRRN/PCCN preferred)
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• EPIC experience preferred; can test out if experienced within the last year

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing and patient monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Medication and drip titration
• Electronic health records (EPIC)
• Familiarity with Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, and Arctic Sun preferred
