Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week; every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to cardiac medical patients including those with MI, heart failure, dysrhythmias, and post-procedural conditions
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Administer and manage cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, dobutamine, milrinone, and insulin
- Care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures including caths, ablations, cardioversions, and device placements
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, techs, and charge nurses to ensure the best outcomes
- Float within alike areas as needed to support the team
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- At least 2 years of RN experience
- Strong cardiac telemetry knowledge
- Experience with cardiac medical and procedural patients
- Med-Surg background with telemetry preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Cardiac drip management
- Medical-Surgical nursing skills
- Comfort with telemetry and cardiac monitoring equipment
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability
- Excellent communication and teamwork
