Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to cardiac medical patients including those with MI, heart failure, dysrhythmias, and post-procedural conditions
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer and manage cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, dobutamine, milrinone, and insulin
• Care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures including caths, ablations, cardioversions, and device placements
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, techs, and charge nurses to ensure the best outcomes
• Float within alike areas as needed to support the team

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• At least 2 years of RN experience
• Strong cardiac telemetry knowledge
• Experience with cardiac medical and procedural patients
• Med-Surg background with telemetry preferred

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Cardiac drip management
• Medical-Surgical nursing skills
• Comfort with telemetry and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability
• Excellent communication and teamwork
