Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
• Triage and stabilize patients in a fast-paced Level IV Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Perform critical procedures including cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of nurses, paramedics, and providers to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR system
• Maintain a calm, upbeat demeanor while managing a 4:1 patient ratio

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Current ALS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• 2+ years of ED experience preferred
• Team player with a flexible, positive demeanor and a passion for community-style care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency triage and assessment skills
• Proficiency with cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR
• Knowledge of trauma and stroke care protocols
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
