Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray imaging procedures for patients of all ages.
• Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
• Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging protocols for optimal diagnostic results.
• Operate GE imaging equipment safely and efficiently, following radiation safety guidelines.
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and PACS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Adapt to daily staffing needs across both CT and X-Ray modalities as patient volume fluctuates.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT certification in both CT and X-Ray.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray imaging.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Meditech and PACS documentation systems.
• A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to float between CT and X-Ray as needed based on staffing and volume.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT protocols, contrast administration, and X-Ray positioning.
• Comfortable operating GE scanners and X-Ray room equipment.
• Skilled in using Meditech for order verification and PACS for image management.
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Strong communication skills to explain procedures and reassure patients.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Team-oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude.
