Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to critically ill neonates in our Level 1 Trauma NICU
• Skillfully manage Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators, adjusting therapy to meet each patient's unique needs
• Perform thorough breathing treatments and ventilation assessments with precision and care
• Document accurately in Meditech EMR and collaborate closely with the care team
• Respond quickly and confidently to emergent respiratory situations
• Bring high energy, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference in critical care

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential with a minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications - these are must-haves
• NICU/PEDS experience and Level 1 Trauma experience are preferred and will make you stand out
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a 10:1 patient ratio
• High-energy personality with a passion for critical care and patient advocacy

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert proficiency in ventilator management, including Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators
• Strong skills in breathing treatments and ventilation assessments
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR charting
• Understanding of Level 1 Trauma and NICU/PEDS patient care
• Excellent communication and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to stay calm and effective in high-stress situations
