Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators and feeding pumps
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and charge nurses
• Support and educate families as they navigate their baby's NICU journey
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech and CPN
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond to high-risk deliveries

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state
• At least 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level 4 NICU experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in weekend/on-call rotations
• Team-first mindset with a positive, adaptable attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of neonatal intensive care protocols
• Experience with ventilators, isolette, IV pumps, and breast pumps
• Strong critical-thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication with families and team members
• Comfortable using Meditech and CPN electronic health records
