EP Tech - Electrophysiology Lab
Location: Austin, Texas

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Day Shift, on-call required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in a variety of EP procedures including ablations and Watchman implants
- Prepare and maintain the electrophysiology lab, ensuring sterile field and proper equipment setup
- Monitor patients during procedures using hemodynamic and electrophysiology monitoring systems
- Operate Philips imaging and recording systems with precision
- Document procedure data accurately in Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a high-performing team of technologists, RNs, and physicians
- Provide a calm, focused presence during fast-paced procedures
Qualifications
- Active TMB license in Texas
- ARRT or RCES certification required
- Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience
- Experience scrubbing EP procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Philips equipment and Meditech EMR
- Watchman procedure experience is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced lab
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology
- Proficient in sterile technique and infection control
- Familiarity with Claris monitoring software
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to anticipate physician needs during procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Sense of urgency and attention to detail
