Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside nursing care to trauma, burn, and surgical ICU patients
• Manage complex wound care, code situations, EVDs, and massive transfusion protocols
• Monitor critically ill patients using advanced critical care equipment and Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust patient care plans
• Float to MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or PCU to support staffing needs as assigned
• Foster a team-based environment by offering help and communicating openly

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
• Trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience is required
• CCRN certification preferred
• BSN preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Expertise in wound care, code management, EVD management, and MTP
• Ability to work effectively in high-acuity trauma and burn settings
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to ask questions and lend a hand
• Critical care equipment proficiency
