Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to acutely ill medical ICU patients with complex needs
• Monitor hemodynamic status, manage ventilators, and administer medications
• Perform moderate sedation and assist with procedures like CRRT
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and positive attitude
• Meditech experience and prior travel nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and airway management
• Proficiency with CRRT and IV therapy, including Sono IV
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
