Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Denver, Colorado
Start Date: 07-20-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Triage patients quickly and efficiently to prioritize care based on severity
- Administer medications, IVs, and conscious sedation while closely monitoring patient responses
- Perform EKGs, wound care, and other emergency procedures with confidence
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of ED physicians, paramedics, and radiology techs
- Float between ED departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a compact state
- Current BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH, and PALS certifications
- At least 1 year of current, acute care Emergency Department experience (2 years preferred)
- ER Charge Nurse experience is a plus
- Comfort floating between ED departments when needed
- Positive, flexible, and team-player attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation and IV insertion
- Skilled in medication administration and conscious sedation
- Experience with wound care and emergency procedures
- Comfortable with Meditech EMR, GE monitors, and Baxter pumps
- Strong triage and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to stay calm and adapt quickly in changing situations
