Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms to help diagnose cardiac conditions
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Analyze and record cardiac images for physician interpretation
• Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment
• Collaborate with cardiologists and the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Document patient information accurately in the Cerner system

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification (or registry eligible)
• RDCS certification required
• Current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of echocardiography experience
• Ability to work day shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency with echocardiography equipment and procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
