Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults and geriatrics in a 35-bed inpatient rehab unit
• Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions for patients recovering from stroke, SCI, amputations, brain injury, and neurological conditions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including therapists and physicians to create individualized care plans
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and manage IV therapies including antibiotics, anticoagulants, and antiplatelets
• Accurately document patient progress in EPIC and communicate effectively during handoffs
• Float to MedSurg as needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state - license to submit required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg or Inpatient Rehab experience
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility per radius rule
• Driver's license required at submittal to verify radius rule
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam during orientation with a 90% score
