Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent medical needs
• Perform comprehensive assessments and triage patients based on acuity
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and their families on conditions and home care instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Previous experience in urgent care, emergency, or acute care setting
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of urgent care nursing practices and protocols
• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV insertion, and wound care
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
