Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for response
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other staff members
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact license
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab settings preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption as required by facility
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
