Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients and prioritize care based on the severity of their condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient status, responding quickly to changes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during stressful emergencies
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Previous ER or acute care experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
• Proficient in patient assessment and triage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
