Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, carefully monitoring responses
• Perform thorough assessments and promptly communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans
• Document care accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations
• Champion infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maryland (or compact privilege where applicable)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Valid state or federal issued ID for facility badging
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Clear communication with patients, families, and team members
• Infection control and emergency response protocols
