Shift Type: Wednesday-Saturday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Nights, 10-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans and produce high-quality diagnostic images using Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion 64/16 and Siemens scanners.
- Position patients and explain each step of the procedure to ensure their comfort, safety, and cooperation.
- Collaborate with radiologists to verify clinical history and optimize scan protocols for accurate results.
- Document patient data and scan details in Cerner while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Follow radiation safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and hospital policies every shift.
- Assist with scheduling, room turnover, and inventory to keep the department running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Active BLS (AHA) certification is required.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiologic Technology (R).
- Valid California CRT license.
- At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Comfortable working 10-hour night shifts in an acute care setting.
- Cardiac experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with CT scanners, including Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion and Siemens equipment.
- Solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging positioning.
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication skills for guiding patients and coordinating with the care team.
- Ability to stay composed and accurate in a fast-paced hospital environment.
