Location: San Bernardino, CA
Start Date: 08-31-2026
End Date: 11-30-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Monday, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM (10-hour day shifts, first to float)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure safety
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, including Siemens and Toshiba systems
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records
- Float to other areas within the department as needed to support team coverage
Qualifications
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) and Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)
- Valid California CRT license
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
- Cardiac CT experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Siemens or Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion scanners is a plus (training available on Siemens)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of computed tomography principles and protocols
- Proficient in using Cerner charting system
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Comfortable with on-call and float assignments
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
