Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in accurate diagnoses
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging outcomes
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure safety
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, including Siemens and Toshiba systems
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records
• Float to other areas within the department as needed to support team coverage

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Registered CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) and Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)
• Valid California CRT license
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
• Cardiac CT experience preferred but not required
• Experience with Siemens or Toshiba (Canon) Aquilion scanners is a plus (training available on Siemens)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of computed tomography principles and protocols
• Proficient in using Cerner charting system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Comfortable with on-call and float assignments
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
