Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Quality Management & Accreditation program across the system, aligning strategy with organizational goals
• Manage accreditation, infection prevention and control, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, and credentialing activities
• Develop, implement, and refine quality improvement policies and processes using rapid PDSA cycles
• Oversee quality measurement and reporting, collaborating with EHR staff to capture and report reliable metrics
• Investigate complaints and administrative issues, prepare findings and recommendations for executive leadership and the Board
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to sustain continuous improvement
• Coordinate and lead accreditation and regulatory surveys, ensuring ongoing compliance with accrediting body standards
• Promote SEARHC quality standards and integrate quality initiatives across clinical and non-clinical divisions

Qualifications

• Current RN license or comparable clinical degree with relevant quality management experience
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Minimum five years of healthcare administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience leading healthcare professionals
• Demonstrated experience with accreditation standards, infection prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Master's degree in health-related or business field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality and performance improvement methodologies and PDSA cycles
• Familiarity with accreditation agency requirements and interpretation of standards
• Experience with infection prevention and patient safety principles
• Ability to design and analyze quality measurement reports and leverage EHR data
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and change management skills
• Critical thinking, program planning, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines
