Roles & Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for complex procedures
• Assist surgeons directly during orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, GYN, general, robotics, and vascular surgeries
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold rigorous patient safety standards
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced robotic platforms including Da Vinci, Mako, and Velys
• Document accurately in Cerner and collaborate with the perioperative team
• Support the OR team across multiple specialties including urology, ENT, plastics, and trauma

Qualifications

• Active certification as CSTFA, CFA, or RNFA
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Strong experience with ortho, spine, neuro, robotics, and vascular cases
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of aseptic technique and OR protocols
• Skilled in assisting with robotic-assisted surgery (Da Vinci, Mako, Velys)
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and respond quickly
• Knowledge of patient positioning, surgical prep, and wound handling
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
