Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7-on/7-off rotation: Wednesday-Tuesday; Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; includes day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients across the continuum of care
  • Deliver direct patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric populations
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality pharmacy services in accordance with TCRHCC policies and standards
  • Rotate through day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to support 24/7 pharmacy operations
  • Advance your career through tiered pharmacist roles, with opportunities to become an Advanced Practice Pharmacist
  • For advanced roles: administer specialized pharmacy-based clinics, analyze clinical services, and supervise pharmacy staff

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-recognized school
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist, including at least 1 year as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Experience with medication management, direct patient care, and pharmacy services across diverse patient populations

Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education

Knowledge & Skills

  • Comprehensive medication management and patient care skills
  • Clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Experience caring for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients
  • Strong organizational and supervisory abilities
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Knowledge of TCRHCC policies and commitment to quality care
