Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Take and process dental X-rays and intraoral scans as directed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and brace care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes in Denticon
• Provide a warm and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (required)
• Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience with dental software such as Denticon is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of orthodontic instruments and sterilization protocols
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to detail with patient records and documentation
