Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient
- Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Take and process dental X-rays and intraoral scans as directed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and brace care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes in Denticon
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Must be orthodontic certified (required)
- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Experience with dental software such as Denticon is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of orthodontic instruments and sterilization protocols
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Attention to detail with patient records and documentation
