Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists chairside during procedures to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and update patient dental and medical histories
• Expose and process dental radiographs as directed
• Provide exceptional patient care and comfort throughout visits
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience assisting in a dental setting preferred
• Current Maryland dental assisting certification or eligibility required
• Ability to work the scheduled shift from 11:45 AM to 9:00 PM
• Warm, professional demeanor with a passion for patient care
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental practice management software and patient records
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
